Angle alignment error
The design of the spherical roller bearing enables it to have an automatic self-aligning function, that is, the bearing itself can adjust the angular alignment error between the inner and outer rings. Under normal load and working conditions, when the inner ring rotates, the misalignment values given in the table below are allowed. Whether this given value can be fully achieved depends on the design of the bearing configuration and the type of seal.
Tolerance
Spherical roller bearings with cylindrical bore or tapered bore have ordinary tolerances.
Internal clearance
Standard spherical roller bearings have normal radial internal clearance. Almost all bearings are available with a C3 clearance, and some are even available with a larger C4 clearance. Some sizes can be supplied with less than normal grade C2 clearance. When ordering bearings with non-standard radial clearance (including C5), you should first check whether they are available. These clearance values apply to the bearing at zero measuring load and unmounted.
